Olive and Olive Oil Processing Unit Opened.
The opening ceremony of the "Ezine Vocational School Olive and Olive Oil Processing Unit" was held at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMÜ) Ezine Vocational School (MYO).
The opening ceremony was attended by ÇOMU Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Dinçay Köksal, Advisor to the Rector Assist. Gör. Mustafa İlker Gülcemal, Ezine Vocational School Director Dr. Faculty Member Mustafa Ekici, Ezine Mayor Güray Yüksel, Ezine Food OSB Director Alper Altınok, district protocol, academicians and students attended the opening ceremony.
ÇOMU Rector Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu stated that Ezine is one of the most important olive production centers of Çanakkale; "The olives grown in our region are world famous for their unique aroma and taste. In this direction, the opening of this unit, which will directly contribute to Ezine's geographically marked olive and olive oil production, is an important milestone for our region. This unit will teach our students all stages of olive and olive oil production practically. In this way, when our students graduate, they will contribute to the qualified workforce needed in the sector. This unit will offer olive producers the opportunity to process their olives in a quality way."
After the opening, Ezine Vocational School Olive and Olive Oil Processing Unit was visited by the protocol. Rector Erenoğlu presented certificates of appreciation to Ezine Mayor Güray Yüksel and Geyikli Multi-Program Anatolian High School Director Efrail Sancar, who contributed to the opening of the unit.
